The detail

How the year works.

This is everything you're agreeing to. I've written it plainly. Ask me about any of it.

The year

What you're buyingA twelve-month program, not a set of classes. One fee: teaching, workshops, the recording, performances, jams, Song Pods, the portfolio. It isn't priced by the lesson.
When you startAny month. Your twelve months run from your child's first lesson. So does your renewal date.
Weekly lessonsEntry: one a week at my studio. Core: one a week at your home. Full: two a week at your home. All year, stopping only on published holidays.
HolidaysDiwali (about a week), Christmas and New Year, Holi, a fortnight in summer, and any national holiday that lands on a lesson day. You get the dates before you enrol. They're in the fee, so they aren't made up.

Lessons

Missed lessonsNot made up, not carried forward.
ReschedulesTwo a year, for real clashes. Used within two weeks, into a slot that's already free. They don't carry over.
If I cancelI reschedule it that month.
Taking a breakOne pause a year, up to six weeks, for something real — a move, an illness. I hold the slot and adjust the next payment. Longer than that and you'd rejoin next cycle.

The program

Production workshopsEight a year, two hours each, weekend mornings at my studio. Entry comes to two of them. Core and Full come to all eight. Dates published before you enrol.
SongwritingFull only. Built into the weekly lessons, not taught as a separate class.
Performances, jams and Song PodsThe same for everyone. Two performances, three jams, one Pod a month. The parents' moment is part of the performances — there's no separate parent event.
What you provideA guitar and an iPad. The iPad is for the production work. The guitar stays out of its case, on a stand or a wall. We agree that on day one.

Money

PayingFor the year in full, which is 5% less. Or quarterly.
Moving upEntry to Core to Full, any time. You pay the difference for the rest of your year. Moving down happens at renewal.
The first 30 daysIf it isn't right, your money back, less the lessons taken.
RenewalA month before your child's year is up, I'll talk to you about the next one and what it costs. I review fees each year; yours is confirmed in that conversation.

How many children

The size of the studioNever more than 25. This year, eight to ten.

Let's find the right fit for your child.

Tell me a little about your child and I'll help you find which of the three fits — and answer anything about the year. No commitment in a conversation.
